Manuvision has extensive experience and success in treating children with body therapy – of all ages, from infants to teenagers.

Children, just like adults, can need a helping hand to get rid of imbalances in their bodies. ManuVision body therapy helps children who suffer from pain and everything from growing pains, stiffness in the body, restlessness and night sweats to psychological problems such as anxiety, depression and ADHD.
The treatment is not confrontational or unpleasant for the child. We work on the nervous system by relaxing muscles, which can cause any stiffness and blockages to release.
An advantage of a children’s treatment is that we see a quick effect, and that it is often possible to treat or prevent incipient imbalances in the back and musculoskeletal system, which could otherwise develop into problems in adulthood.
In the treatment of children who have been exposed to shock and trauma or are struggling with psychiatric diagnoses, Manuvision offers a supplement to the solutions provided by the established healthcare system.
A child treatment is usually carried out with at least one parent present and is always based on the developmental stage the child is in.
We emphasize a gentle and safe experience for both child and parent.

book about trauma treatment
In the book “When the Body is at War” we gather the threads from 25 years of treatment practice with the experiences from the research project into the effect of Manuvision body therapy against PTSD, conducted by the Danish Institute of Public Health (SDU). We introduce our work with relationship and body awareness and the principles and techniques that can regulate the balance in the nervous system and create change in people exposed to trauma.
