MANUVISION Traning – CONNECTING BODY AND MIND
When we say ManuVision Training is about getting into the body, we mean it literally.
- We work the whole body – from the facial muscles to the toes. You step away from the head and take a journey through the body.
- We awaken muscles and connective tissue, stimulate circulation, strengthen the back and core, and loosen the joints to create flow in the body’s energy system. In this way, you truly feel all the life in your body.
THE BEST OF YOGA, KARATE, AND BODY THERAPY
ManuVision Training draws on many disciplines that focus on both strength and flexibility. We have especially taken the best from yoga and karate, combining it with body therapy knowledge about the connection between body and mind. The training integrates:
- Focus, power, and strength from Karate
- Depth, breath, and flexibility from Yoga
- Body therapy’s insight into the connections between muscle groups, energy pathways, and emotions
MANUVISION TRAINING IS SELF-treatment
ManuVision Training is a form of “self-treatment”. On the table, you receive guidance to work on your tension, and in training, you learn to do the work yourself, maintaining your body and preventing injury:
- We address the contractions that cause tension and pain
- We train free, conscious breathing to release stress and muscular tension
- We strengthen the nervous system and the ability to shift between rest and alertness
- We confront the areas where the body collapses due to weakness in muscles and joints
In this way, ManuVision Training complements body therapy, allowing you to work directly on the tensions behind the physical and psychological challenges you may seek treatment for.
All ManuVision trainers are certified body therapists and guide you through exercises with expert knowledge of the mind-body connection and how muscle tension, energy pathways, and emotions interrelate.
TRAINING THE INNER AS WELL AS THE OUTER
We do not train for perfection. We train to feel the life within the body.
ManuVision Training is about tuning into yourself. We work with calmness and presence, training awareness throughout the session – from guided meditations at the start to stretches at the end. The training teaches you to listen to your body and recognize your limits and sensations.
